What you agree to when you use HeyPi, in plain English.

01Who we are

HeyPi is made by Proactive Intelligence, based in London, United Kingdom. You can reach us at support@heypi.xyz. "We", "us" and "our" mean Proactive Intelligence. "You" means the person or company using HeyPi.

02What HeyPi is

HeyPi is a meeting space with Pi, an AI assistant, built in. In a meeting Pi listens, answers you, and makes things on screen when you ask: pages, apps, decks, pictures, songs and short videos. On paid plans Pi also books and repeats meetings, works with your calendar, sends email for you from its own address (your Pi EA email), answers you privately (Pi Whisper) and remembers your past calls. Features change as we build. We'll tell you when something you rely on is removed.

03Your account

  • You must be 18 or over and give us accurate details.
  • Keep your sign-in to yourself. What happens under your account is your responsibility.
  • A plan belongs to one account. Sharing one account between several people or companies isn't allowed.

04Plans, credits and payments

  • Free. £0. Unlimited meetings and 5 builds a day. Each new thing Pi makes, or each change to it, is one build. Your builds come back at midnight in your time zone. Videos are not included.
  • Solo. £20 a month, paid in advance each month until you cancel. Solo includes 400 credits a month. They reset on the day of the month you joined, and unused credits don't carry over.
  • What credits buy. A page, app, deck or doc is 4 credits. A change to something Pi made is 1. A picture or a song is 2. A video is 50. If a build fails, its credits come back to you.
  • Top-ups. Solo members can buy more credits: £5 for 100, £10 for 220, £20 for 480. Top-up credits never expire and are used after your monthly credits.
  • Teams. Priced with you on a call.
  • Paying. Payments are taken by our payment provider. We never see or store your card number. Prices are in pounds sterling.
  • Cancelling. You can cancel any time from your dashboard, under Manage plan. You keep Solo until the end of the month you have paid for, then your account moves to Free. Anything you made stays yours.
  • Refunds. We don't refund a month once it has started; cancel any time and you keep what you paid for. If you were charged in error, or the law gives you a right to a refund, we will refund you. Email support@heypi.xyz.
  • Price changes. If we change a price, we'll email you before your next payment.

05Guests

People you invite join from a link, using the email address you invited, and need no account. Guests never pay. By joining, they accept these terms for that meeting. You are responsible for telling your guests that Pi is in the meeting where the law or good manners require it. Pi Whisper is private to you. Anything Pi says out loud, anything Pi puts on the shared screen, and the small notice of tasks Pi has done, is visible to everyone in the meeting.

06What you can't do

  • Use HeyPi for anything unlawful, or to harass, deceive or harm anyone.
  • Record, transcribe or share a meeting where you don't have the consent the law requires.
  • Ask Pi to make anything unlawful, or anything that copies someone else's work, name or likeness without their permission.
  • Copy, resell, reverse-engineer or scrape the service, or use it to build a competing one.
  • Put in data you don't have the right to share with us.

07Pi can be wrong

Pi answers from what you give it and what was said in your meetings. It is an AI system and it can be mistaken, out of date, or miss context. The pages, pictures, songs and videos Pi makes are generated by AI too. Check anything that matters before you rely on it or publish it. Pi only acts on a clear instruction from you, and reads bookings and emails back before sending them, but you are responsible for what you ask it to do. We don't guarantee any outcome from a meeting.

08Your content

Your meetings, transcripts, notes, threads and anything you type to Pi are yours. What Pi makes for you in a meeting is yours to use. You give us permission to process all of it only so we can run the service for you. We don't train AI models on your content, we don't sell it, and we don't show it to anyone outside your account except the service providers named in our Privacy Policy, who process it on our instructions.

09Our content

HeyPi, Pi, Pi Whisper, Pi Threads, Pi Work, the design and the code are ours. These terms don't give you any rights in them beyond using the service.

10Availability

We work hard to keep HeyPi up, but we don't promise it will never go down. Some features are new and marked as such; they may change or be withdrawn while we learn what works.

11Ending things

You can close your account at any time from your settings or by emailing support@heypi.xyz. We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and we'll tell you why. When an account is closed we delete its content within 30 days, unless the law requires us to keep something for longer.

12Liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost deals or lost data arising from your use of HeyPi. Our total liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or anything else the law says can't be limited.

13Changes

We may update these terms. If the change matters, we'll email you before it takes effect. If you keep using HeyPi after that, the new terms apply.

14Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
